OBJECTIVES
- Liaise, and cooperate with the Ministry of Local Government and others concerned bodies of National Government system for local governance, development activities and service deliveries
- Strengthen the collaboration between MAB and Bangladesh Urban Forum (BUF) in policy advocacy matters
- Promote dialogue, cooperation, collective approach to ensure mandatory & improved services to the residents in municipal areas.
- Institutionalization, empowerment of local governance system, alignment with the national development process etc. Organize supports for institutional capacity building through appropriate trainings and technical cooperation.
- Mobilize resource, supports for various projects through self-generation or donor assistance for services to ensure improved urban socio-economic livability.
